additional stanzas

she ourns, sweet tuneful youth, thy hapless fate;

tho&039; all the powers of ng thy fancy fired,

yet xury and wealth y by state,

and, thankless, starv&039;d what they uch adired

this tribute, with a tear, now gives

a brother bard—he can no ore bestow:

but dear to fa thy ng iortal lives,

a nobler onunt than art can shew

scribed under fergn&039;s portrait
